MEET THE TEAM (the Committee)
Mick - Chairman, and Coach
Mick is our Club Chairman, and he is a Kayak and Canoe Coach, He is a keen paddler and you will often see him Canoeing, White Water and Sea Kayaking
Tony - Treasurer and Coach
Tony is our Club Treasurer and he is mainly a kayak coach, beginners normally see Tony as they start with the club. Tony is a keen white water kayak paddler
Deborah - Membership Secretary
Deborah is our Membership secretary ensuring that we have all the relevant details so we can contact you, or someone in case of an Emergency.
Deborah is a keen open canoe paddler, and is often seen paddling in Scotland and wild camping
Heather - Welfare Officer
Our Welfare officer (CWO) is responsible for acting as a source of advice about safeguarding and protecting children and adults at risk, promoting good practice and for coordinating action within the club on receipt of any concerns or referrals.
Tricia - Camp Event Organiser
Tricia kindly arranges our annual Club camps normally in the Lakes. Another big fan of open canoes and the call of the wild
Ian - Secretary, Social Media and Webmaster
Ian looks after most of our Media and communication methods, including our online payment options, and the website
When not being the IT Geek he can be seen in an open boat
Dave - Equipment Officer
Dave is our Equipment officer, if it's broke he fixes it, whether it's boat or our Cabin.
Another big fan of open canoes and the call of the wild
Kev "The Birdman"
Kev is one of committee members helping out with various activites, a keen Kayaker and Open Boater
Vacancy - Health & Safety Officer
Our Health & Safety is in post advise the club on the requirements, policies and procedures for all aspects of health and safety. Ensure Risk assessments are regularly reviewed and up to date.
