Special Members Events

To attend these sessions for insurance purposes you have to be a full member of Pendle Paddlers, unless the activity is advertised as a Peer Paddle (see below).  Details in the special tab below

It is important to provide an an appropriate emergency contact number for the event.

Events are free, unless otherwise stated, however if you do wish to use Club Equipment there is a £5 fee per day.

Peer Paddles

Peer Paddles are organised by individuals wishing to paddle together but understanding that there is no formal coach/leader from the club, so it is your responsibility to determine the risk and safety requirements.

Peer paddles are also not covered by Pendle Paddlers insurance or waterways licence so it is again your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate cover.

Cumbria Youth River Group

Pendle Paddlers are lucky to be associated with the Cumbria Britsh Canoeing Regional Development Teams - Youth River run group. This is available to 13 to 25 year olds, who would like more opportunities to paddle White Water rivers.

You must be a member of British Canoeing to attend, and have been in contact with the Project Leader.
